Stonehouse Park Federation is made up of Stonehouse Park Nursery, Stonehouse Park Infant School and Park Junior School all at the heart of the rural town of Stonehouse. We are blessed in having extensive grounds including fields, forest areas, gardens, ponds and playgrounds along with flexible learning spaces with additional rooms to support a range of different activities.
There has been a school on this site since 1847 and we have a variety of buildings from different periods in history. We currently cater for over 60 children in our nursery. Our schools are 2 form entry and we currently have about 140 children in our infant school and 210 children in our junior school. We also have a breakfast club and an after school club to provide safe and fun wrap-around care from 7:30am - 5:45pm.
We have a committed staff team who form positive relationships with our children and respond supportively to their needs. We aim for a rich and nurturing environment where we offer our children a wide range of interesting and challenging learning experiences to enable them to develop as individuals and valued members of our community.
We place high importance on communication skills, reading and mastering number whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum. However, we are mindful that education is not just about academic development. It is also about developing personal, spiritual, social, physical and artistic skills. We believe that what makes our federation special is our caring, happy atmosphere.
